About the event
In celebration of Women’s History Month, theater director and arts educator Liz Dahmen leads an immersive workshop that explores how performance can deepen engagement with visual art. Stage and photograph your own self-portraits in the galleries and assume the roles of both artist and subject, while blending performance, photography, and storytelling. The workshop culminates in a public sharing and projection of participants’ works and is inspired by Cindy Sherman’s Untitled Film Stills, on view in Everything Has a Story and Modern Women / Modern Vision: Photographs from the Bank of America Collection.
