Performing Art
what are you waiting for?

Performing Art is a collaborative performance project led by Liz Dahmen that brings together an ensemble to create a live performance in response to a gallery exhibition. While in residence at the Tyler Art Gallery at SUNY/Oswego, a performance in response to the exhibit “She Is On Her Way” will be created over 13 hours of rehearsal. Performers will respond to the artwork, exploring themes of waiting and longing through the kaleidoscope of their lived experiences, creating stories, songs, and dances to share with an audience.

Hi! My names Owen, and I am a senior here at SUNY Oswego. I love art in all its forms but have a special love for acting and performing. I had seen the amazing work Liz had done the last time she visited and rushed to this opportunity to see what it was all about. The idea of turning physical art into an interactive performance is so unique and special and I can't wait to share it with everyone. After graduation I plan to pursue a career in free lance acting, music production, sound design, and whatever other forms of art I can sink my teeth into.
